A bequest is a gift, given to a charity of your choice, which is provided for in your will. Fear of death, especially our own, results in many of us not making a will. What will happen if no Will is in place?
You cannot be 100% sure of what will happen to your estate unless you make a will. Bearing this in mind, would you consider the Johannesburg and or Krugersdorp SPCA in your will? We need your help to ensure hat we can go on rescuing animals from terrible pain and suffering as well as saving lives for many years to come.
The SPCA fights cruelty 24 hours a day, wherever animals may suffer it. Farms, markets, laboratories, zoos, circuses, kennels, in the wild and in people's homes. We get no funding from the government and everything we do has to come from our caring supporters.
By leaving money to the SPCA in your will you guarantee that animals will go on being protected and saved for many years to come and you will also help change attitudes. Our humane education programme teaches children the right way to treat animals as well as morals and respect for all sentient beings.
You should decide what type of legacy you wish to leave the SPCA:
1) Your whole estate
2) A percentage of your estate
3) A specific sum
4) A specific item of value. Eg. Jewels, property etc
