Do you feel that you have been sentenced to a lifetime of receiving socks and bubble-bath every birthday, father’s/ mother’s day and Christmas from those who you love?  Every year we live in hope…

On the other side of the coin, we have all experienced that special someone tell us, “Honey, you can get me anything…as long as it’s perfect.”  We have all been accused of not getting the many, so, so obvious clues that he/she was dropping over last 3 months, right?

Giftwish allows you to share the exchange of gift wishes.  You get to know exactly what your friends and family want for Christmas, birthdays, baby showers, engagements, etc.  And they get to know what you want.  Giftwish turns those wishes into a gift-reality.

Website description

The site allows you to

• create a gift wish list/s per friendship group for upcoming events, such as birthdays, Christmas, weddings, baby showers, office parties, etc;
• create a profile for your child and let them invite their friends.  You can even add your pets for that matter…  (As a parent, you remain in total control of your child’s profile.)
• find or invite your friends to join the party and share their gift wishes;
• create friendship groups of people you know;
• view accepted friends’ gift wish lists and secretly tag a chosen item;
• view suggested gift ideas around your interests presented by the site and various vendors;
• support your favourite charity and make their wishes come true.  View what they really need and make a difference. 

The site includes a charity page that allows chosen charities to showcase their gift wish lists.  This allows a user to view what their favourite charity actually needs and be moved to make a difference.  Instead of donating money, as many have become cautious in doing, users can contribute in an alternate, but meaningful way.
