Johannesburg SPCA Mobile Clinic is Launched |
|
The Johannesburg SPCA launched our Mobile Veterinary Clinic on Monday (3rd October) and Tuesday (4 October 2011).
The JSPCA team visited Palm Springs Mall (Orange Farm) and the Maponya Mall (Soweto) on Monday. The launch went very well and we were inundated with compliments and thankyou's from the members of the communities of the identified areas.

On Tuesday Mrs Beryl Dawson, JSPCA Board Member, was invited to "cut the ribbon" to launch the full operation of the Mobile Veterinary Clinic. As Mrs Dawson cut the ribbon, JSPCA staff cheered with excitement. Over 100 dogs were vaccinated, dewormed and/or treated. The JSPCA would like to thank, the National Lottery for giving us the money to buy and equip the vehicle. Something that seemed to be a distant dream has become a reality! Thank you.
