There is an email, doing the rounds stating that the SPCA is closing down and you are required to sign your name at the bottom of the email to petition against this.

Please take note, this email is not true.

The current state of the world economy has resulted in many organisations having to cut their operations to the bone, we are not immune to the impact that the economy has had,and it is in the bad times that we have to ensure that we can assist owners of animals to help take care of their animals under difficult circumstances.   We are forever indebted to our donors who always find some way to help us.
