Inspector Jerry Selwane, has once again showed his compassion, not only towards the animals he protects to the owners. "I understand that some people love their animals, but they just don't have the financial means or education to look after them correclty" Selwane says.
Inspector Selwane went out to investigate a complaint regarding a dog that was permanently chained. On arrival at the property, Inspector Selwane saw that the property had no fencing, and therefore the dog was chained. "I understand and respect, the reasoning why the owner chained his dog, but that chain was unacceptable, so I erected a running chain, therefore allowing the dog more freedom". The owner was also given a bag of dog food and educated regarding responsible animal husbandry.
